Is a chemical peel really worth it?

For active acne, scarring, pigmentation and rough texture, yes: a peel lifts the damaged layers so new skin comes through, from 499 AED. Active acne answers within a few sessions, deeper scarring takes longer; Dr Lydia tells you at the free consultation which peel and how many.

How long will a chemical peel last?

The new skin is yours to keep; what can return is only what caused the problem, such as new breakouts or sun exposure. A maintenance peel when the skin asks for it holds the result, on a rhythm Dr Lydia sets with you.

How much is underarm whitening in Dubai?

Visited the Symphony clinic yesterday for Hydrafacial and discovered their various offers available from Laser Hair Removal and Hydra Facial to Cool Sculpting for fat removal where you can get free sessions when buying multiple sessions. The Clinic is nice and pleasant with refreshments and a high level of cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and helpful and assisted me in rebooking my treatment. My Hydrafacial was a relaxing and rejuvenation experience perfect for after-work enjoyment. The machines are premium and the products offered as well. How much is a chemical peel in Dubai?

Which acids do you use for a chemical peel?

Superficial peels use glycolic, salicylic, lactic or mandelic acid. Medium-depth peels use TCA (trichloroacetic acid) or a Jessner solution. Dr. Lydia selects the acid and its strength during your free consultation, based on your skin type, your skin tone and what you are treating — acne, scarring, pigmentation or underarm whitening.

Where is your Peeling clinic in Dubai?

Symphony Clinic is in Business Bay, at 908 Regal Tower (9th floor) on Al Mustaqbal Street, with free parking inside the building. Business Bay metro station is a few minutes away, and we are minutes from Downtown Dubai, DIFC and Sheikh Zayed Road. Open every day, 9am to 10pm.

How many peels do I need?

Active acne and dullness answer in 1 to 3 peels; deep scarring and stubborn pigmentation take a course of 4 to 6, two to four weeks apart. Dr. Lydia tells you how many your skin actually needs before you commit.

Will my skin peel, and how long is the downtime?

Light flaking for 3 to 5 days, which is the old skin leaving; underneath it is younger, plumper and clearer. You go back to work the next day, with sunscreen on and no makeup on the peeling areas.

Does a peel hurt?

A warmth or a light tingling, nothing more. Dr. Lydia stays with you throughout and neutralises the peel the moment your skin has had enough.

Do peels really help with acne and acne scars?

Yes, peels treat active acne and remove scarring. Studies have found the procedure effective in drastically improving the appearance of acne scars, and each peel in a course goes a little deeper.

Can a peel be used for whitening?

Yes, underarms at 499 AED and the bikini line at 799 AED. The whitening peels even out tone darkened by shaving, friction and years of hair removal, usually within 2 to 4 sessions.

Is it safe for dark skin?

Yes: Dr. Lydia selects the acid and the depth for your skin type, and dark skin gets a peel designed not to trigger pigmentation. That choice is exactly why a peel belongs in a doctor's hands, not a salon's.

Can I have a peel if I'm pregnant?

No, and that is non-negotiable for us: a chemical peel is never done during pregnancy or breastfeeding, whatever another clinic may tell you. You need to be 18 or over, and if you take blood thinners or have a medical condition, tell Dr. Lydia at the free consultation so she plans around it.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, in 0% instalments with Tabby or Tamara, or by card or cash. The price you see on this page is the price you pay: no hidden fees, no surprise at the desk, no upsell once you are on the bed.

What is the difference between a superficial, medium and deep peel?

The three words describe how far the solution works. A superficial peel lifts the very top layer and has no real downtime, for dullness and rough texture. A medium peel reaches the layer where acne marks and pigmentation sit, and the skin flakes for a few days. A deep peel goes further still and is reserved for scarring, under strict medical supervision. Dr. Lydia chooses the depth for your skin at the free consultation rather than selling a fixed formula.
